INTRODUCTION/OBJECTIVE:
The Director is a digital team leader, typically assigned to one large strategic account or several mid-scale/core clients. Primarily responsible for development of management and measurement frameworks to steer and monitor program progress and success. Acts as a digital media SME for internal stakeholders/client partners as well as key point of contact for cross-functional disciplines (SEM, SEO, Strategy, Creative, etc.). Client programs include data driven digital media campaigns and integrated multi-channel campaigns to successfully engage and influence consumers at each funnel stage. Contributes to product and business strategy. Typically direct team of 6-10 people.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Relationships:
Client/Partner Engagement Responsibilities (performs with limited oversight):
- Lead clients to build innovative Media programs, partnering with experienced digital marketers on the client side, including VPs, Directors, and Managers
- May own client relationship and communication, proactively engaging to communicate and collaborate
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners in proactive and effective manner; Acts as initial point of escalation for team when issues arise, engaging stakeholders
- Actively attends Partner knowledge sharing sessions, proactively representing company's voice with input and idea generation
- Contribute no fewer than three pieces of thought leadership each year, includes: Company blog/white paper posting, Media case study, industry trade article, Agency Knowledge Exchange Session presentation, and/or speaking at an industry event
- Consistently display a positive demeanor even in highly charged, contentious or emotional senior level interactions

- Provide proactive and constructive feedback to team members, inclusive of action plans for improvement

QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
- Proficiency within DSPs and Social Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google's DoubleClick Bid Manager, Amazon AAP, AOP) (Advanced)
- Proficient user of digital ads trafficking tools (DCM, Atlas, Etc.) (Advanced)
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint (Advanced)
- Proficiency in Salesforce people management tools (Core)
- Digital media strategy and plan development (Advanced)
- Resource and people management (Core)

Experience:
- Bachelor's/advanced degree from an accredited college or university
- 9-12 years' experience within digital media agency function and/or digital media vendor/ad technology platform
