POSITION: Senior Director of Data Science

Role Purpose:
- The purpose of this role is to develop best in class strategies and management of all Insights and Analysis activity on assigned clients, to manage and develop the team and serve as a point of escalation as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Applies data science methods to provide insights and recommendations to clients
- Manages multiple analytics engagements
- Communicates findings and insights
- Maintains knowledge of new trends in the data science industry
- Integrates disparate datasets, conducts data preparation for analyses
- Sets team development and training objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree or above, major in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
- At least 10 years' data analysis experience, prefer marketing consulting background
- Proficient in SQL, well use Python will be a plus
- Experience in data mining and model building
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Business development skills
- Good leadership skills and willingness to work under pressure
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
Skills:
Technical skills
- Strong in MS Office core suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required: Access, Visio; recommended One Note
- Working knowledge of database systems a plus
- Proficiency with multiple analytics tools required; SAS, R, SQL
- Strong hands-on experience with BI or digital analytics tools (Tableau; Micro strategy, Adobe analytics, Google analytics, DMP insight tools)

- Should be able to effectively communicate and mange projects and clients
- Create a practical analytic work plan in response to a strategically defined learning agenda and complex client business challenges
- Actively manage client expectations and project priorities
- Intermediate Project Management skills
- Ability to create robust analytics solutions to optimize marketing investments
- Ability to consolidate and package up insights, analytic outputs, and action items into a well organized, consumable package
- Ability to translate analysis insights into actionable recommendations and strategies for marketers
- Ability to explain/present complicated analytical methodology and results to clients
